“When we first started planning our wedding reception, we thought we’d never be able to find a DJ who could bring coherence to our eclectic tastes. From the beginning, Lou was available, professional, and adaptable. His website proved extremely helpful—we used it as an organizational tool not just for music requests but for all of the reception events. During the reception, Lou made things run smoothly from the start.

Throughout the night, he was perfectly responsive to requests, anticipating what we wanted even before we articulated it. Thanks to him, our wedding turned into a raging dance party, for which he was kindly willing to perform several hours of overtime. Music makes a party, and in many ways, Lou Paris made ours. We would definitely hire him again for future events, and we highly recommend him to all.”

My Observations
Ally, LP, and their guests were such a fun group to perform for! The cocktail hour spilled over into the outside deck where a very profound toasts were given while vary classy jazz music was being played in the background.
You know that the bridal party would be a bit more than interested when Michael Jackson’s / Wanna Be Startin’ something was selected for their entrance song. Charles Trenet / La Mer brought a regal touch to the first dance. The cocktail hour and dinner music selection saw a ying/yang of French and American pop hits that kept the vibe light and fun. Then the dancing time spilled over into multiple hours of overtime featuring songs from Arcade Fire, Michel Sardou, Stevie Wonder, Gang Starr and Tribe Called Quest. Talk about one eclectic mix of music!
It was an honor to play the soundtrack to one of the most import days in their lives and it’s an event I will never forget.
